Sports Team Assistant
The Athletics Department seeks several students to serve as Sports Team Assistants.
Duties Associated with Position:
This student-worker will assist teams with many day-to-day operations including helping team prepare for home and away games, team laundry, keeping practice and game statistics, assist with distribution and collection of equipment and cleaning team areas.
Required Skills:
Athletic Team Assistant must be responsible, timely, enjoy the organization of a preparation of practices and games, have a working knowledge of athletics and a willingness to learn the duties required for a number of different roles.
Number of hours per week per employee anticipated: 10-20
Number of employees required in the department for this job: 8-12
Time requirements, if any (e.g. MWF, 2-4 PM)? Afternoons, nights and weekends are required.
Employees will require additional OSHA training? No
Special Considerations: Valid driver’s license and certified to drive campus vehicles.
