Assistant Professor of Nursing
The Nursing Department of Saint Joseph’s College of Maine is seeking a full time Assistant Professor of Nursing. This is a tenure track position.

The successful candidate will teach courses in the pre-licensure BSN nursing program. Responsibilities will include course development, academic advisement, clinical teaching and oversight, scholarship, and assisting with recruitment efforts for the nursing program.

The successful candidate will have a least a Master’s Degree in Nursing, five years of medical-surgical clinical experience and one to two years experience in nursing education programs. Preference will be given to candidates with a Doctorate and two years experience teaching patho-pharmacology and adult medical-surgical in a traditional undergraduate BSN program.

Candidates must also have excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to work with a team, excellent interpersonal skills and be willing to be support the mission and core values of Saint Joseph’s College.
